In 2010, her work has also been recognised with The Translation People Prize 2008-2010.
Born and raised in Ferrara (Northern Italy), now based in Lincoln (UK), Sara moved to the UK aged 20 to study and work in the country. Her deep understanding of British culture places her in a unique position: understanding both the Italian and the British way of living, idioms, customs and preferences, she can now translate in a targeted way to reach exactly the right audience.
Thanks to her previous in-house experience in both Italian and British translation agencies, Sara is now able to bring extensive know-how and precious insight into her freelance career.
As a volunteer translator for Translators Without Borders, Aflatoun, GoodPlanet Foundation and BabelFAmily (international project to defeat Friedreich’s Ataxia), she thinks that translation should not only help to increase business, but also increase awareness and communication around the world.
